Osprey bringing its catch back to the nest.

Mute Swan coming in for a water landing.
[White swan with wings completely outstretched a few feet above the water.]

It's down there somewhere. (This swan species has black legs and feet.)

Mute Swan family: There are eight young ones between the adults.
[Ten swans in the water with an adult at either end and eight little ones in between.]

Gorgone Checkerspot Butterfly (Note the striped antenna.)

[Tri-colored bird with black head, beak, and back, rust-colored sides, and a white stomach.]

Mockingbird
[Brown bird with a few white stripes in wings and a beige underside.]

Robin nest (I shot the photo only seeing the nest with my eye. After taking the photo and zooming in, I saw the bird.)

Grey catbird (It does sound like a cat!)

I believe this is a male grackle.
[Bird perched on a feeder full of seeds. The bird has blue-black head and upper torso with the rest of the body more of a brown black. It has a yellow eye with a black dot in the middle.]
