Red oak reflected in the pond.
[Full red-oak with red blossoms and leaves just starting to bud reflected in the pond laden with lily pads.]

Tree with interesting branches
[Tree with wavy branches spiraling to the sky and lichen growing on the bark.]

Another interesting tree
[Tree with huge short trunk and many thick branches starting only several feet off the ground. No leaves yet on the tree.]

Guess from which direction the ocean winds blow?
[A line of trees of lessening height sloping down to the water forming a triangular shape.]

I believe these buds are part of a hawthorn tree.
[A close view of four white closed buds near a fully-opened bloom. The stamen coming from the center have red tips. The leaves have serrated edges.]

Beautiful blossoms (Not sure if this is a tree or a bush.)
[A close view of multiple curved branches with closed white pink buds and open white pink flowers all along the branches. The leaves are small and green.]

Wild geranium
[A very light purple five-petaled flower has its center facing the camera showing its long thin stamen with dark purple tips. A second bloom is mostly hidden by the first and both are surrounded by blooms which have yet to fully develop and the leaves of the flower and grass.]

A fern which has yet to unfurl.
[The end of a fern closed into a spiral atop a branch. Looks like it will eventually unroll and spread apart.]

A different type of fern
[The stalks on these ferns are much thicker than the one in the prior photos as are the leaves which are a bit less curled since they are so thick. There are four different stalks with each facing a different direction as prepares to unfurl.]

Chipmunk
[The small brown creature with dark and light brown stripes down its back is in the grass with its head bent to the ground.]
