Lake Ewauna Wingwatcher's Nature Trail - Klamath Falls, Oregon

Lake Ewauna
[Looking down the length of what seems to be a very long lake. There are mountains in the distance which seem to run for a long length and both they and the far end of the lake are in a haze.]

Lake Ewauna shoreline
[Shoreline edged with evergreens all of which are reflected in the lake water. Light-colored, tree lined mountains can be seen just behind the trees.]

How many cormorants can you fit in a tree?
[Leafless tree in which 1 of these waterfowl are perched.]

Cormorant
[Close-up of one medium-sized dark-grey bird with grey webbed feet and a bit of orange around its light-colored bill perched in a tree.]

Goose convention
[Shallow island in the water on which approximately 16 geese stand. Their images are reflected in the water.]

Mallard asleep on one foot
[A female mallard standing on one foot on a log with its head tucked in at a side view and that eye shut.]

Cattail
[Closeup of two cattails, one of which is extremely long.]

Oxeye daisy
[Flowers with about a dozen white petals and a somewhat conical yellow center.]

I don't know what these are, but I find them interesting.
[Spherical flower remains that look ready to spread seeds once the wind blows.]

Oregon grape
[These look like oblong blueberries including having sharp points on their green leaves.]

Cowbird
[All black bird with a grey beak and some grey in the tail feathers perched in a leafless tree.]

White crowned sparrow
[Small grey bird with white tips on wings, black stripes on its head with one passing through the eye area, and orangish beak and legs.]

Ferret
[Appears to be a pet ferret which is loose. In the photo it's on the ground with its mouth open.]

[Water and cattails in foreground, lots of green reeds and some farm land including a silo in the mid ground and tall, mostly treeless, wheat-colored mountains in background.]

[In a well-treed hillside are a number of buildings with differing architectures.]
