Mountain with colorful rock segments seen at the St. Mary end of the park.
[Very tall wide flat-faced mountain top has a whitish segment of rock running the width of the mountain below a dark segment of rock at the top. There are trees on this mountain, but they are way below these sements of rock. The ground in front of the camera is quite full of trees.]

A view at the St. Mary end of Going to the Sun Road
[A huge hunk of rocky mountain with a number of vertical crevices along its face. There is one section of the mountain which is like a little crown on the top.]

The brown segments, in the tree section next to the water, are burned trees from fires which happened the prior month. (St. Mary end of Going to the Sun Road)
[Lake water in the foreground with a section of trees not covered in fog just beside it. This is the section with brown and green in a haphazard fashion. Further back is a section of forest which does not seem like it was affected by the fire. Behind that are mountains with patches of snow on them, but they are mostly obscured by the fog.]

Siyeh Bend with Siyeh Creek flowing through it
[A stone arch surrounding an opening on the side of a hill. There is water flowing thorough the arch and into the foreground over what appear to be broken stones.]

Compare the trees on the right to the water flow of Baring Falls to notice the odd angle of the rock and falls.
[A wide frothy cascade of water goes dow a rocky hillside.]

Colorful stones in Baring Creek
[The shallow water contains many round red rocks amid the brown and grey ones.]

Wild Goose Island in the middle of Saint Mary Lake
[A tiny island in the middle of a large round lake surrounded by mountains on the sides and back with lots of clouds overhead and blocking the view of some mountains.]

Glacier Park Lodge is outside the park boundary south of St. Mary.
[A four story brown building with a green metal roof. There are two sections which stick out from the main building which appear to be rooms with balconies. There is a lush green lawn in front with some wildflowers growing at the very front of the photo (near the road).]

West end of Lake McDonald seen from a tour boat.
[The entire image is mostly shades of blue, white, and grey. The wide wake of water from the boat created ripples in the water leading toward a low section between two mountains on either side of the far end of the image. In the very far distance are mountains crossing this low section. The huge amounts of clouds overhead are blocking much of the sunlight.]

Bald Eagle perched high in a tree on the shore of Lake McDonald. (Viewed from a tour boat.)
[The brown of the bird blends in with the background, but the white of its head and tail are like lights in the darkness which makes the brown body a bit more evident than it would otherwise be.]

Fire damage on the shore of Lake McDonald. (Viewed from a tour boat.)
[There is no green in this image. It is the remaining skeletons of tall pine trees.]

In this area on the shore of Lake McDonald, the fire only managed to burn the lower portions of the trees. (Viewed from a tour boat.)
[The upper third of the trees have greenery while the lower sections are entirely brown. There is a patch on the back side where it appears the fire consumed the entire tree.]

Cabin near Apgar at the west end of Lake McDonald (The trees are very tall!)
[Beyond the edge of an empty paved and lined parking lot is a cabin tucked amid trees which of which the lower 50-60 foot of the trees are visible. There are multiple types of trees and even a few yellow leaves left on one of them.]
