Canyon View Park - Grand Junction, Colorado

A splash of purple at the park
[A mulitude of lilac-colored small blooms on tall, thin stems creating a swath of purple.]

These reminded me of paintbrushes.
[Grass topped by what looks like tan, feathery paint brushes at the water's edge.]
