[The sun is already below the horizon, but the orange-red glow remains and backlights whispy trees on the horizon. Above the orange-red is mostly a film of white clouds. There is some blue visible behind the whisps.]

July 27, 2014
[The sun is a large yellow orb with two thirds of it above the horizon as it sits just behind a power pole. There are some thin pink clouds across the face of it and slightly thicker pink clouds above it. The sky is a purplish blue with some cream colored clouds above it. In the foreground is a small, close-up portion of a power pole with a yellow diamond road sign peeping out on either side.]

[The sun already gone from view has painted the clouds both at the horizon and further up in the sky shades of yellow, orange, pink, and a yellowish-purple. Light blue sky is visible in the middle of the image and at the top. The ground appears to be a dark orangey-brown.]

Part of the horizon on September 23, 2014
[Pink horizontal highlights are painted across a sky completely covered in purple-blue clouds.]

The evening of July 30, 2014 with the Odessa city lights dotting the horizon
[A view of the distant horizon which has three power poles on the left and a multitude of lights at the juncture of the land and sky. The sky is shades of violet and blue with one large cloud way above the land. The cloud color ranges from white to shades of light purple and blue.]

September 26, 2014
[Above the rooftops are clouds at several different layers from the foreground to the background. The foreground clouds are completely violet from a recent storm. Behind them are red/orange clouds in the lower portion and pink clouds in the upper portion as the setting sun lights them. Portions of blue sky are visible in the background.]

July 30, 2014
[View down a street with blue-grey storm clouds overhead mainly to the left. Beyond those in the distance just above the rooflines the sky is pink. To the right there is blue sky which then melds into the purple with splashes of yellow and pink as the sun catches the edges of those clouds.]

September 3, 2014
[The sun is just at the horizon and lights the clouds around it a bright yellow. Further away tp the sides the clouds are orange. The next level up in the sky the thick clouds are a medium grey while the swatches of clouds above that are very white against blue sky.]

September 28, 2014
[In the foreground are open bushes, in the midground are power poles, and in the distance is the sun just at the horizon. The thin layers of clouds creates a haze across the color so the sun's edges are blurred. There is a section of orange clouds around the sun and white and grey hazes of clouds above it.]

Interesting clouds the evening of September 4, 2014
[The setting sun is blocked by a wooden fence so the sky is just shades of gray, white, and blue. Rays of light emanate from the upper left edge of the cloudbank.]

September 27, 2014
[A close-in view of the horizon where it appears the setting sun has set the ground on fire. The bright-white color stretches across a section of the horizon backlighting an oil derrick, three storage tanks, and several columns. This color also outlines all the clouds low in the sky. The ones higher up are also lit, but not as brightly.]
