Spokane, Washington
November 25, 2005

The right side of Spokane Falls (It splits into two sections around an island in the river.)
[A series of shallow, but very fast moving and frothy drops of water under a bridge not all that far above the water.]

Spokane Falls downriver of the prior photo
[The bridge from the prior photo is in the background on the right. Most of the water flow and froth is on the right side of the island in the middle of the river. The island is quite a ways above the water line and has buildings on it.]

Basalt rock at the falls
[Wet black rock as if it was chunked together and then partially remelted into one piece.]

Part of a sculpture exhibit outside the museum building
[A brass fish with wearing a little hat is part-way out of the cement using a saw with its little arm on some wire fencing.]

Campbell House
[A three story home with the first level brick and the upper levels are tan with dark brown wood x shapes and other decorations like is common on European Alpine homes.]

Room inside the Campbell House decorated for Christmas
[An evergreen tree with unlit candles on it stands in front of a large window with ornate draping across it. A chandelier with globe bulbs is overhead. There are pots of blooming poinsettias.]

Campbell House garage building
[A small two-story building similar in styling to the house with gabled roofs and dark wood on light background on upper floors with the first floor being brick.]

Japanese garden area
[A curved wooden bridge connects two parts of the walkway around the manicured grounds.]

Lots of birds in the park
[Several dozen male and female mallards and gulls stand around the empty bike rack and ground surrounding a pond.]

Liberty Lake, Washington

Liberty Lake
[A dock sticking out into the water from a small hillside. Plenty of trees around the edge of the water with some somewhat barren hillside above and behind them.]

A male black-tailed deer in a yard in Liberty Lake
[The deer was walking away and turned back to look at the camera. Its antlers blend in with the vegetation behind it so they are not as visible as the animal's body. The end of the tail is black while the rest of the body is brown. It stands in the grass beside a large tree trunk.]
