Creative use of horns
[Large steer horns used as arms, backrests, and feet for chairs. The image is a display of many chairs using different combinations of the horns as arms and backrests. The seats are padded and covered with leopard skin print fabric. One chair appears to have plain colored patches on it, so not sure if the animal print is real skin or fabric make to look like real skin..]

Person (not me) riding Skycycle. (I rode it after she was done.)
[Girl on a cycle on a rope with a counterweight under it.]

Treehouse in simulated tree attached to learning center on museum grounds.
[Distant view of treehouse large enough to hold a group of adults.]

Muscovy duck in urn (Urn was roped off with sign not to disturb wildlife, so apparently the duck voluntarily went in.)
[Head of a duck sticking out of an urn with a loose feather nearby.]

San Antonio Botanical Garden - San Antonio, Texas

Top of one of the buildings in the garden
[Weather vane pointing to the left atop a cupola.]

Trumpet flowers along the edge of a path through the garden
[A metal railing separates the edge of the stone-paved path from the trumpet flowers on the left. There are many tall fully-leafed trees in the background. The trumpet flowers have leaves at the top from which hang the long white bell-like blooms. The open bloom faces the ground so is not visible.]

Some of the many beautiful blooms at the garden
[From the plant's dark green leaves sprout branches full of flowers. The flowers have five white petals with polka dots of pink on them. In the center of each bloom are pink-petaled centers with some yellow in the very center.]

Coral bean plant
[Plant with pink tubular petals.]

Pomegranate tree with growing fruit
[A tree with many relatively thin branches with many, many leaves. More than a half-dozen pomegranites hang from the tree. The pomegranites are red globes with red leafy-like things hanging from the bottom of the globes.]

Pineapple on the plant
[A pineapple with an orange surface and a green top is attached to the plant at a 45 degree angle. The plant has many very, very, very long thin leaves with serrated edges which look just as prickly as the surface of the pineapple.]

Cactus blooms
[Large yellow and orange blooms atop small cactuses.]

Prickly pear cactus and its flowers
[At the top edge of a thin flat slab of cactus are two conical sections of green. A yellow flower sits atop each cone. The flowers are very full with many petals similar in structure to a carnation flower. Among the other slabs of this cactus are varying stages of conical offshoots from which either flowers are visible or are at the early stages of growth.]

Cactus with soft, rubbery spines (Kid's area had a sample to touch.)
[Cactus with soft, rubbery spines which almost look fake.]

Resident goose expecting to be fed.
[Close up of a goose's head.]
