Prairie dog (Who thought I was going to toss food its way!)

I climbed the tower to the level of the arrow. (Upper level was closed to visitors.)

[About a dozen photos stitched together in three parts. This first part starts with the outer edge of the railing on the left and has an expanse of many mountains with trees on them providing splotches of green color on an otherwise light tan ground. ]


[This second part continues the expans of ground and ends on the right side with the outermost part of the railing. ]


[This last part is the view through the tower structure starting from the railing on the left (same railing as prior view) and continuing to the stairwell on the right. The right side railing of the stairwell is the same metal as viewed on the leftmost side of the first view.]

Spearfish Canyon - western South Dakota

Tall trees in the canyon
[Looking up at the canyon wall at a water stream running down the rock. Some sunshine split into rays of colored light by the camera seeming to creating a veil in front of the falls.]

Behind the ray of sunshine is Brides Veil Falls.
