Paved access road beside a stream
[The stream is on the left with trees on both sides. The paved road is curving around the stream and going uphill while the stream remains at the same level (so the road gets progressively higher above the stream).]

Small waterfall
[Small stream of water opens to a larger triangle on a hillside before it hits the ground. Ferns are all around the water.]

Tree moss
[Lots of light green moss contrasts with the dark wood of the tree trunks and limbs.]

The white arrows mark deer prints on the ground.
[Two prints are spaced in the wet dirt with some leaves on the ground near them. The print on the left appears to have had more weight on it as the toe marks are slightly splayed and not quite as distinct as the ones on the right. White arrows were added to the image above the marks so they could be more easily located.]

Sparrow in the grass
[Brown bird with brown stripes on its white breast and on its grey head holds a seed in its mouth white standing on the ground.]

Humans as well as animals enjoy the ocean's waves.
[An all-black (because of wet-suit including a hood and gloves) figure surfs about a 5 foot wave which is collapsing to his left but still forming to his right.]

Sunset view of Humbug Mountain jutting into the Pacific ocean
[With the dark mountain to the left and the ocean in the foreground, the yellow and white clouds streak across the background with blue skies still visible at the top of the image. Calm waves roll to the shore.]

Sunset over the Pacific Ocean
[The setting sun is a glowing orb just above the clouds handing over the ocean. It lights up a portion of the water leading to the foreground as well as the entire blue sky behind and above the clouds.]

Interesting sky formation (close view of left portion of prior photo)
[Two seastacks appear almost black due to the heavy dark-blue cloud cover just above them. An openin in the clouds behind this spreads a swatch of white under the darkness on the horizon.]

Ophir Beach
[A panoramic view comprised of several photos stitched together with white-capped waves on the left and a huge expanse of sand on the right. The sand is backed by green hillsides and a small mountain in the distance. Fog sits in the distance above the water and leading into the small mountain in the distance.]

Vegetation near the beach
[The upper parts of this beach grass are thicker as if they are a type of skinny cattail. There are also many thin grass strands amid these ones with the thicker tops. All are leaning toward the left.]

Something from the ocean lying on the sand at Ophir Beach.
[A long skinny thing from the sea which could be some type of seaweed or a jellyfish tenacle.]

This may be an immature California Gull.
[Both brown wings are fully extended vertically as the white-headed bird flies above the frothy surf.]

Interesting formations in the distant fog
[View of the water with formations in the distant fog above the water line which appear to be small mountainous islands. There is white surf in the foreground leading to the sand.]

The powerful tides drove these drift logs into the sand.
[Three partial tree trunks (approx 8 foot long?) which became driftwood were driven into the sand such they stand upright.]
