US-62 scenic viewpoint overlooking the White River in the Ozarks in Northernwestern Arkansas

June 28, 2013

The White River is somewhere under those bridges.
[A railroad bridge angles from the lower left towards the middle of the image while a road bridge angles from the lower right to the middle of the image. Both viewable sections of the bridges start and end in the greenery of trees so it's not possible to see from where they come or to where they go. The valley and nearby hillsides are full of leaf-bearing trees.]

One section of the White River
[A thin section of sunlit blue sits amidst the thickly treed area. A grass knoll is in the foreground.]

Another section of the White River
[This section of the river's water has a green cast to it as it sits amidst all the trees and greenery which comes right up to the water's edge.]

A boater enjoying the river.
[Similar image to the prior two river views except there is a long skinny boat with a person at one end in the river.]
