[A barrel cactus is shaped like a short fat barrel. The yellow fruits grow nearly on top of each other at the top of the cactus. At the top of each fruit is brown leaf-like thing which look like they could be grabbed to pull the fruit from the cactus.]

Mountain lion

Frost and cold temperatures stunted the growth of this saguaro.
[There are several different types of plants in this image, but the main feature in the middle is a saguaro that appears to have wanted to branch off but now resembles the knuckles on a closed fist.]
